Slavic Magic Workshop – Kolyada: Slavic Winter Holidays and Rituals

$30Madame Pamita teaches Zoom workshops on the last Wednesday of each month at 4PM PT/5PM MT/6PM CT/7PM ET. All workshops are recorded and all registrants will be emailed a link to the recordings 24 hours after the workshop. For all workshops, no materials are required and no prior magical experience is necessary, but a basic understanding of folk magic is helpful. People of all spiritual paths and ancestry are welcome.
The Winter Solstice has been a special time for Slavic people since ancient times and in this workshop, Ukrainian diaspora witch, Madame Pamita will take you into the winter wonderland that is the series of Winter Solstice celebrations: You’ll begin with St. Andrew’s Day, the ancient Kalyta, and move through St. Mykolaya day, the ancient pre-Christian ritual of Kolyada, all the way up to the holy water celebration of Vodokhreshcheis and more. You’ll learn the magic of the Pavuk, or winter solstice spider and the Didukh, the solstice home of the ancestor spirits.
