Steady Work Oil
Steady Work Oil
Believed to assist in gaining and maintaining regular employment. 1/2 oz.
When times get hard, it is the person who is truly blessed who can count on a steady job that pays a fair, working wage, with no danger of unexpected lay-offs or down-sizing. Finding a good job is the concern of many, and keeping one the sincere desire of many more. Steady Work Oil is an old and traditional formula designed to meet this need.
Here is an old-fashioned African American job-getting spell from the hoodoo rootwork tradition:
Get a white crucifix candle and two blue offertory candles. Inscribe your name on the white crucifix candle and inscribe the words STEADY WORK over and over on the blue offertory candles, going round and around like the stripes on a barber pole. Dress all three magical candles with Steady Work dressing oil .
Write a description of the type of job you want on paper. If you have a paper from the company at which you wish to be hired, so much the better; use that, whether or not it is printed on one side or on both sides. Sign the paper by writing your name at right angles across the job description nine times. Draw a dollar sign in each corner of the paper. Dress the four corners of the paper with Steady Work anointing oil . Place a pinch of gravel root or Steady Work sachet powder (or both) in the paper and fold the paper toward you to bring the job toward you. Fold it again, still folding toward you. Place the paper beneath the crucifix candle. It is traditional to put the paper under an overturned white saucer and set the crucifix candle on top of the saucer. Place the three candles in a row, with the blue ones to eaither side of the crucifix. Light all three candles, then pick up and hold the blue offertory candles in your hands as you pray aloud for a job, using your own sincere words. Replace the blue offertory candles on the altar. Let all the candles burn until they go out. (from the Lucky Mojo website)
