Organic Agrimony is used to shield yourself from threats of curses and crossing, to undo crossing that has already been done, and to remove the evil eye. As far back as the Ancient Greeks, we see this herb being used to neutralize spells and heal wounds.
This herb in the rose family is harvested in Hungary. Bearing yellow flowers with egg-shaped petals on spikes emanating from hairy stems, Agrimony exudes a distinctive, pleasant scent that is often compared to apricots but isn’t as sweet.
Suggested magical uses for Organic Agrimony:
Add a pinch of Agrimony, Star Anise and Spearmint to a red flannel bag to create a protection mojo.
Sprinkle on top of a black candle to add extra power to your protection spells.
Mix with Ginger and Dragon’s Blood resin and burn on a charcoal for a fiery protection incense.
Dress a Powerful Protection candle in Powerful Protection oil and roll in Agrimony for extra power.
Add a small pinch to Lemongrass tea to increase the clearing and cleansing properties.
Agrimony is considered safe for short term use for adults but long term use may be unsafe due to tannin content.
High consumption and long term use may cause side effects such as stomach irritation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, kidney and liver damage.
Do not use Agrimony in a bath if you have large sores or wounds.
Do not use when pregnant or breast feeding.
Agrimony has been noted to affect blood sugar level. Care should be taken when taken with diabetes medication.
