Description
This silver-plated brass tile can be used for burning incense, as a small candle tray, for protecting your altar from hot items, or simply as a gorgeous decorative piece.
The Pentagram was originally used in ancient times as a Christian symbol for the five senses or the five wounds of Christ. In the Renaissance, Agrippa, among others, spread the popularity of the pentagram as a magic symbol, attributing the five neoplatonic elements (air, fire, water, earth, spirit) to the five points. By the mid-19th century, with a single point upwards it depicted spirit presiding over the four elements of matter, and was essentially a symbol of good. Modern-day Wiccans use the Pentagram as their spiritual symbol of protection.
