    Description

This handmade clay sculpture talisman is wearable art and is a replica of the clay statues of mother goddesses found in the archaeological excavations of ancient Tryillian sites. These mother goddess idols were displayed in every household as a symbol of blessing, fertility, and prosperity. The Trypillian culture was an advanced Neolithic culture that thrived from 5500 to 2750 BCE. Thousands of these goddesses have been found in the areas of modern-day Ukraine, Romania, Moldova.

These talismans are handmade for us by Ukrainian master ceramicist Zhanna Rossypchuk (Жанна Россипчук) of Ceramystery. She sculpts and then fires each piece by hand, using the ancient technique of “milk firing,” where the pottery is covered with high-fat milk, then baked in the kiln.

This necklace is a small sculpture of this ancient goddess. She can be worn to honor your ancient ancestors, the great mother, or the old goddesses. Place a drop of your favorite spiritual oil on her to charge her even more and she will bless you with abundance.

Each one is a unique and handmade work of art and no two are exactly alike.

Goddess measures 3″ tall x 1.25″ wide and comes on an adjustable 40″ leather cord.
