Tibetan Mokchhya Nirvana incense is a special blend of Himalayan aromatic plants used by buddhist practitioners for centuries to invite enlightenment. These Incense Sticks are traditionally hand-rolled from natural herbs, oils and other ingredients such as Ganden Khenpa (Tibetan sage), spikenard, juniper, cinnamon and clove.
This gentle herbal incense releases a mellow aroma when burnt, which promotes tranquility, clarity and serenity. Its core ingredients are traditionally offered on mountaintops to invoke peace for all beings and for arousing our innate enlightened qualities. Thus, it is particularly suitable for use during spiritual ceremonies and meditation sessions.
Buddhists also offer incense to purify what has been offered on the altar and to create the causes to have morality, ethics and hold one’s vows well – virtues of the Bodhisattva spirit of selfless altruism to benefit others. Hence it is strongly encouraged to offer the best incense (and by extension, the best offerings) that one can afford.
Each charming and ecologically sound handmade paper tube comes with 30 thick 5.5″ sticks. Each stick burns for approximately 45-60 minutes.
Use it with the included mini incense burner, with the Tibetan Wooden Ladder Incense Burner or with any incense burner and incense burner sand.
