The Hamsa Hand, sometimes called the Hand of Miriam or Hand of Fatima, is an ancient Middle Eastern protection talisman to protect you from harm against the evil eye and bring you blessings, abundance, fertility, luck, and good health. The Hamsa Hand is known all over the Middle East and North Africa and has been variously interpreted by scholars as an important symbol for Jewish, Christian, or Islamic people as well as a pagan fertility symbol that dates back to the days of cave painting.
The name Hamsa or Khamsa references the five fingers of the hand but is mainly a symbol used for protection and as defense to ward off the evil eye.
