Description
Somewhat akin to the Mexican celebration, Dia de los Muertos, Provody is the holiday of visiting one’s loved ones in the cemetery for a celebration of gratitude. Provody also coincides with Rahman Easter, the holiday connecting to the Blessed Ones in a paradise land far away. Join me for an exploration of these special holidays and learn the rituals and magic associated with them.
In this workshop, you will learn about:
- Who are the Rahman?
- The ritual for receiving the blessings of the Blessed Ones
- Honoring your ancestors in the cemetery
- The legends of Rai, Iriy or Paradise
- Feeding the ancestors
- …and more
