February Witchcraft Workshop – Trypillian Culture: Ancient Pagans in Slavic Lands – February 4, 2024.

Despite leaving no traces of a written language and intentionally and repeatedly and mysteriously burning their cities to the ground every 60-80 years, we have excellent evidence that the Cucuteni-Trypillian people pioneered ancient magic and in our February Witchcraft Workshop – Trypillian Culture: Ancient Pagans in Slavic Lands we’ll explore the myth, legends and magic handed down to modern day Slavic magic through these ancient people.

The First Sundays Witchcraft Workshops for 2024 focus on Slavic pagan traditions, rituals and spellcraft. The entire series is a masterclass in Slavic magic, so you’ll want to subscribe so you never miss a workshop (you’ll also save 25% by subscribing!)

    Description

The Cucuteni-Trypillians were Neolithic humans whose settlements in modern-day Moldova, Romania and Ukraine were so advanced, and so vast, that they pioneered the concept of the city as we know it. This culture existed 7000 years ago and was one of the most technologically advanced societies in the world at the time, developing new techniques for ceramic production, housing, agriculture and spirituality. In this workshop, we will dive into this fascinating ancient culture and discover how the spiritual systems they developed have influenced Slavic magic today.

In this workshop, you will learn about:

    • Their cities of thousands of people
    • The magic of the Trypillian patterns and how they are seen in Slavic talismans today
    • The ancient magic of the initiation hut and how it relates to Baba Yaga
    • The magic numbers in Trypillian spirtual systems
    • The mysterious goddesses of Trypillian culture
    • Ancient rites of life and death
    • …and more

This Zoom workshop takes place on February 4, 2024 at 5pm PT/6pm MT/7pm CT/8pm ET. No prior experience is required, however, a basic understanding of magical principles will be helpful. People of all spiritual paths and cultures are welcome.
