November Witchcraft Workshop – Lysa Hora: The Witches’ Mountain

For centuries, artists and writers, composers and poets, scholars and occultists have been fascinated with Lysa Hora, or Bald Mountain. In the November Witchcraft Workshop – Lysa Hora: The Witches’ Mountain, we’ll travel virtually to this mystical power spot to discover all the uncanny magic it contains.

The First Sundays Witchcraft Workshops for 2024 focus on Slavic pagan traditions, rituals and spellcraft. The entire series is a masterclass in Slavic magic, so you’ll want to subscribe so you never miss a workshop (you’ll also save 25% by subscribing!)

Bald Mountains exist all over Eastern Europe but the most famous one is the legendary spot in Kyiv where witches gather for their sabbats. This mountain has been the inspiration of composers Mussorgsky and Rimsky-Korsakov, famous authors such as Gogol, and even Walt Disney. In this workshop, you will learn about:

    • The ancient temples of the magicians
    • The worship of ancient oak trees
    • How the spirits of Lysa Hora expelled the Nazis in World War II
    • The special connection between Lysa Hora and the mystical snake Ouroboros
    • Special sabbat rituals of Lysa Hora
    • …and more

This Zoom workshop takes place on November 3, 2024 at 5pm PT/6pm MT/7pm CT/8pm ET. No prior experience is required, however, a basic understanding of magical principles will be helpful.
